Your position as Marketing Research Manager will report to the Australian office however you will have the autonomy to conduct research and work closely with fellow marketers in the Singapore office. Using your creativity and innovative techniques, you will have a broad range of research tasks to accomplish and hence should be a highly quantitative skilled market researcher. In addition, you will identify strategic opportunities for category and brand growth, while also working closely with the Marketing and Sales Teams across 13 countries in Asia Pacific as well as the Global Teams.

Desired Skills and Experience

Specific expertise should include:

  • an impressive market research background that allows you the skill to handle diverse research problems
  • it would be helpful to have a background/degree in engineering or technology
  • managing and prioritising a wide-variety of custom research projects and tracking data,
  • developing and utilising a variety of research methodologies to evaluate marketing initiatives, advertising, new product launches, volume forecasting and customer insights.
  • drawing strategic conclusions/implications from data and translating into actionable marketing plans and product development recommendations.
  • excellent communication and presentation skills
  • an easy rapport with a variety of cultures and skills

Essential:

  • Bachelors’/Masters degree or equivalent.
  • At least 5 -7 years Marketing Research experience
  • Strong analytical skills, including the use of statistical and multivariate analyses; familiarity with use/analysis of tracking and /or syndicated data; extensive knowledge of MS Office applications.
  • Solid project management skills.
  • Demonstrated success in leadership competencies, creative problem solving and team partnership skills; excellent interpersonal, verbal and written presentation skills.
  • Ability to interact with a variety of suppliers and customers (marketing, sales, finance and information management).
  • Time management and the ability to prioritise is essential!
